THE DAY OF THE LORD
Over the whole earth today there is great tension. We are experiencing clear and real signs that the future holds difficult days for us. The Covid-19 pandemic, the world economic crisis, the war in Ukraine, a moral and ethical crisis unprecedented in history and the rampant apostasy in the Christian Churches announce what the Bible calls the DAY OF THE LORD, a day of great anguish for all the earth when men will be confronted with the judgment of God.
We live the harbinger of the "Last Days", in the final certainty that they are moments that announce the DAY OF THE LORD. For us, the Church's apostasy is unmistakable proof of this. So we need to take more seriously and conscientiously the indications that Jesus is returning and times are getting harder. THE DAY OF THE LORD puts an end to the history of redemption and the cessation of all men's opportunities for repentance before God. It is a fact that we, knowing the truth about that day and having been warned by Scripture itself, must be on the watch.
We need to preach about the DAY OF THE LORD, we need to warn people about the judgment of God. The task of evangelization is urgent. It was Jesus himself who said: “Behold, I come quickly!” Our response as a Church is full of hope and joy: “Maranatha, come, Lord Jesus.” God keep us in His infinite love.
